Bye George! Thank You!

Today at 12:00 we said goodbye to President George W. Bush. Love him, Hate him or have no opinion, I believe you will have to agree me with me in saying thank you for keeping us all safe for the past 7 plus years.

It is said that men can shape history, but in most cases it is events that shape the man and his response to those events is what shapes history. George Bush's presidency will be marked forever by the worst attack on American soil so far. On September 11, 2001 terrorists (okay, you left wing nut jobs it was not a Dick Cheney inside job) flew planes into the Twin Towers and changed our world forever. President Bush responded the only way he could he had taken an oath to protect5 t he people of this country "from all enemies foreign and domestic." He has done a very good job of that we have had many scares but no attacks to his credit.

You may disagree with his tactics, but no innocent American has been imprisoned, wire tapped, interrogated or killed on Us soil since that fateful day in 2001.

So as the reins of power change hands today please join me saying to our departing commander in chief President George W. Bush Thank You. May God grant thee many years.
